About Me
Hello!
As a former professional dancer for the NBA, I have experienced failure and success in order to do something I truly love. From my love of dancing, to changing lives through teaching, to now fulfilling my next journey of instructional design, I continue to evolve.
That evolution can be seen through my inspiration, creativity and motivation. I am energized by working with stakeholders to really listen and collaborate on ways to achieve their business goals. Building professional partnerships with subject matter experts (SMEs) and learning their content is cognitively inspiring. Transforming that content into clever and meaningful courses with a touch of pizazz brings out my creative spirit. Using the ADDIE or SAM model is motivating as I work through the process. Knowing that my work contributes to the success of others brings me great joy.
In my personal time, I am rejuvenated by spending time with family and friends. Traveling to explore new places meets my need for adventure. Hiking, paddle boarding, bicycling, or just going for a walk leave me feeling connected with nature. I also love wine-tasting, watching movies and writing my blog.
Enjoying life whether in work or play is key!
"Things worth doing are worth doing well."
